Juan Navarro Ramón was a very important Valencian painter who represented the Spanish Republic during the International Exhibition in Paris in 1937. In it, El Guernica by Picasso was exhibited, as well as works by Joan Miró, Foujita and Julio González. Marina, still life, landscapes, nudes or portraits, Navarro Ramón’s painting oscillates between surrealism and noucentism and is exhibited in the most prestigious museums in the world such as the Reina Sofía or the Museum of Modern Art in Paris.
